Frequently asked questions

Where are my bookmarks stored?

In your browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded, so we cannot see or recover them.

How do I import my browser bookmarks?

In your browser, export bookmarks to an HTML file (in Chrome: Bookmarks, Bookmark manager, Export bookmarks). Then press Import here and choose that file. Duplicates are skipped.

Can I move my bookmarks back into my browser?

Yes. Press Export HTML and import the downloaded file in your browser's bookmark manager.

Will I lose my bookmarks if I clear browser data?

Yes. Clearing site data removes them. Download a backup now and then to keep a copy.

Does it fetch page titles or icons?

No. To keep your browsing private it makes no requests to the sites you save, so enter a title yourself or leave it blank to use the site name.
